Hi, my name is MegAnne and I’ve been part of this hotel since the very beginning—joining before we even opened as a Catering Sales Manager. I had a feeling early on that this would be my “home,” and nearly a decade later, now serving as General Manager, that’s exactly what it has become. It’s not just the time spent here—it’s the people. Our team and our many returning guests have created a genuine sense of camaraderie that makes every day meaningful.

When you walk through our doors, you’ll feel it right away. We’re here to make you feel welcome—fur babies included—and to help you experience the best of Bellingham like a local. Whether it’s a relaxing stroll along the waterfront at Boulevard Park or a scenic hike near Mount Baker—I’m especially partial to Ptarmigan Ridge—we’re always happy to share our favorite spots.

Members of the team are active in Whatcom Young Professions, Whatcom Business Alliance, Bellingham Regional Chamber, Ferndale Chamber, She Leads Me, Women’s Professional Network, Meeting Professional International, Building and Industries of Whatcom County, Bellingham/Whatcom Tourism, and Whatcom Lodging Association.

The property has also supported many area non profits organizations including Lydia Place, Blue Skies for Children, Boys and Girls Club of Ferndale and Bellingham, DVSAS, Light House Mission, Meals on Wheels, Bellingham Rotary, Spark Museum, Sustainable Connections, Whatcom Talk and Whatcom Humane Society.
