Welcome to Candlewood Suites in Burlington. When people ask me where to stay in the area, I usually tell them we’re a great fit if you’re looking for something more comfortable and flexible than a standard hotel. As one of the only extended stay options in the market, every suite includes a full kitchen and the kind of space that lets you truly settle in, whether you’re here for a few nights or a few weeks.
What I’m most proud of, though, is our team. Many of them have been here for years, and that consistency really shows in the experience we provide. One of the things I hear most often from guests is that they feel genuinely welcomed, that they’re not just passing through, but part of a small community. That level of care creates a stay that makes it feel more personal and relaxed than people expect.
If you’re here to explore, this is a great home base. Deception Pass State Park and Whidbey Island are two of my favorite nearby spots, with incredible views, water access, and trails that make it easy to spend a full day outside. We’re also right in the heart of Skagit County, which means easy access to seasonal highlights like the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
After a day out, there are plenty of local places I like to recommend. Train Wreck Bar & Grill is a go-to for classic comfort food, The Speakeasy Saloon has a bit of that old-school character, and Sumo Sushi & Grill is perfect if you’re in the mood for something more relaxed and filling. If you’re looking to recharge, Quantum Health and Yoga Lounge is a great option nearby, with a juice bar built right into the studio.
And if your day ends a little muddy from the trail, no problem, our complimentary laundry machines make it easy to reset and get ready for whatever’s next.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create a stay that feels easy, welcoming, and worth coming back to, a place you can rely on as your home base while you experience everything this area has to offer.
