
Courtney brings 9 years of hotel experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Diamond Resorts, and Independently owned hotel properties. Throughout her hospitality career, Courtney has been a part of a hotel task force team that worked in the opening, hiring, and training at 4 new hotels, including 3 of the first 100 Tru by Hiltons.
Courtney was born in Ocala, Florida and grew up in the small town of Starke, Florida on Kingsley Lake. She currently lives on Whidbey Island with her husband, Brandon, who serves in the US Navy, their 2 dogs named Tucker and Leila, their cat named Bagheera, and hamster named Dumpling.
Courtney jumped into the hospitality industry as a Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor for the Fairfield Inn & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront. While working at the Fairfield, Courtney assisted in additional shift coverage and training staff at 2 sister oceanfront properties, Springhill Suites and a Residence Inn. After about 2 years, Courtney began working at the Oceanaire at Ocean Beach Club Resort, a 600 room oceanfront property on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, as a Front Desk Supervisor. Courtney relocated to Florida and began working at the Courtyard Jacksonville Flagler Center as a Front Desk Manager. Shortly after, Courtney began working for Kana Hotel Group as Assistant General Manager of a new Tru by Hilton in the Jacksonville St. John’s Town Center. She quickly became a part of Kana’s Task Force Team and assisted at 2 additional Tru’s in Tallahassee, FL and Savannah, GA. Less than a year after becoming an AGM, Courtney was promoted within Kana Hotel Group to open a new Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Kingsland, GA as a General Manager. Under her management, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites led in the top 10% of IHG’s properties and was granted awards such as IHG’s Top 10% Worldwide Award, the 2020 Spirit of True Hospitality Award, Loved by Guests Award, Booking.com’s Traveler Award, and others. A few years later, Courtney relocated to Whidbey Island, Washington and began working as General Manager of the family-owned Auld Holland Inn before moving to Hotel Services Group.
